  • Cultivate embodiment of our values.

What to expect

We invite Palestinian/SWANA/BIPOC and co-conspirator organizers, visualizers, and dreamers to join us at The Groove for a co-led group discussion, yoga, and journaling circle: Liberatory Imagination.

We invite you to join us in exploring and finding agency in a world that strips us of autonomy. In the face of grief, exhaustion, despair, how can we find our voice in truth? How can we lean on community and use our choice to embody our values? This gathering will offer a space to find our literal and metaphorical voice, turn our inner truth into change, and release tension in order to find strength in the ongoing fight for liberation.

The opening restorative yoga and movement session will integrate deep, mindful breathing exercises, incorporating audible exhales and vocal toning to activate and balance the energy of the throat chakra (Vishuddha). The second portion of the session will include guided meditation/visualization and journaling with prompts.

Liberation is possible, collective care is healing, rooting in the possibility is key - none of us are free until we are all free.

Bring a yoga mat, your favorite journal + pen, and dress in comfortable clothing. All yoga supplies (mats, blocks, bolsters) available.
